As we engage in an ongoing spiritual battle, Sundays are not a time for comfort — they are a time for us to sharpen our swords and strengthen our shields of faith. God has instilled into each one of us a warrior's heart, and as we advance forwards together as a Church, the enemy will continue to respond with counterattacks. Just as we see in the book of Acts, proclaiming God's Word with boldness will pierce hearts and divide. We will face tribulations and persecutions, but we can proceed forwards with this confidence—that the love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit will carry us through every battle until we stand victorious in God’s eternal Kingdom.
