Poor in Spirit

How do you become truly happy? Jesus teaches on the Sermon on the Mount that before someone can experience true joy and liberation, they must first understand their bondage to satan and spiritual destitution before God. Once someone is truly broken, and realizes that all they can offer God is their sin and shame, the Kingdom of God will be born in their hearts and they will be truly joyful in Christ.
