After Paul's conversion, he had one single ambition and focus of explaining the way of salvation in Christ to lost people. He was determined and driven to accomplish this mission, with the conviction that he would never be ashamed of spending his life in this way. He knew the risks that were involved, yet he refused to play it safe or regard the challenges as too extreme. His conviction was to go where God sent him, to be obedient in doing the work of an evangelist, to preach Christ trusting that God would save some, because that was God's promise.

Imagine where our church would be, and how it would function, if it was full of people with the same unwavering commitment, steadfast resolve, and loyalty to Jesus as the apostle Paul. We all have this personal choice set before us: are you going to remain in your zone of comfort, settle into routine, or surrender yourself to be used entirely for God's purposes and lead people to a true understanding of Christ's gospel?

Spiritual fruit can only be born through consistent obedience. If you cultivate a heart of faithfulness, you will see God bless the outcome, and grow the seeds you have planted so that they bear fruit unto eternal life.
